Pop Bag Helps Bottomless Closet Raise $500K

For 20 years and counting, Bottomless Closet has been helping women in need find job placement.  Through a number of programs – from resumé help to coaching, workshops, interview prep, and providing professional clothing – Bottomless Closet has served over 40,000 women.

This support is needed now more than ever as the coronavirus pandemic has resulted in women facing high unemployment rates, unpaid sick leave, and homelessness at record rates.

Every year, Bottomless Closet holds a Spring Luncheon to raise critical funds so they can continue to provide valuable services.   On May 13, 2020 they had their first virtual luncheon, attended by hundreds who logged in to be inspired, informed, and entertained by program participants and alumni.

The virtual luncheon also included an online silent auction with items up for bid including a Saturday Night Live experience and a One-on-One Zoom Call with designer Christian Siriano.   Pop Bag was thrilled to participate in the fundraising event, contributing one of our favorite medium totes and a matching wallet to the silent auction, and providing attendees with a 30% discount in the virtual goodie bag.

Bottomless Closet is an organization close to our hearts.   Click here to learn more about them and how you can support their efforts to help women get back on their feet.
